NaCoM is heavily involved in projects where scrapped Oil-Rigs are converted to mobile water and power units for use in areas with limited resources. The Oil-Rigs are equipped with large Gas Turbine Generator Units and/or large Reverse Osmosis Units in order to supply power and potable water ashore.
